Easy way to understand difference in Optical v/s Digital Zoom in DG camera

Optical vs. Digital Zoom: Choosing a Digital Camera

Optical zoom lenses actually “move” you closer to the subject of the photograph without sacrificing quality. The higher the optical zoom rating on a camera, the farther away you can be to take a photograph and still get a clear, close-up image. The concept of optical zoom essentially the same as the zoom on a film (non-digital) camera. Optical zoom is the number you want to pay close attention to--it’s the zoom that will give you the quality results you want.

Digital zoom on the other hand is not bringing you closer to the item. Rather, the camera crops the entire image, and then digitally enlarges to the size of the viewfinder the portion you want to zoom in on. This results in a loss of quality, and is no different than cropping and enlarging an image with editing software. The benefit of using image-editing software instead of the digital zoom on a camera is that you can decide how much to crop, and how much to enlarge the image to where the quality is acceptable to you. When you use digital zoom on the camera, the image quality is irreversibly lost.

The camera’s zoom capabilities can make a difference as to how much cropping you will need to do in the editing stage. You may be happy with a lower megapixel rating but higher optical zoom if you compose your photos with the zoom lens first, then print the photos as-is. On the other hand, if you like to crop and edit your photos after the fact, a higher megapixel rating and lower optical zoom capability will still allow you to “zoom” with your editing program and compose a photo that can be printed at the size you desire (keeping in mind the minimum pixel sizes for various sized prints). Your style and comfort level of photography and photo editing will help decide which is more important to you.

In short better to buy optical zoom lenses rather digital lenses..

correct usage of words

Pass out: we use it to mean to graduate, as in "I passed out of the university in 2005".
The actual meaning of the word (verb) is: To lose consciousness; to distribute (something)
Eg. Four cadets passed out during the parade in the hot sun.

Put up : we sometimes use it to mean to live as in "Where are you put up?" The correct one is "Where do you live"?
However, when we refer to someone staying temporarily, as in a hotel, we may use put up, eg. "We can put you up for the night, but you'll have to vacate tomorrow

Only degree won't help......

hmm... earlier I had perception that one should have more professional degree's than others to better off or can say to compete.. but I started realizing that that's not hold true in all cases..

There are so many factors which affect one's success in life and degree helps you to give you right beginning...After that it won't help. One can grow with logical thinking, the right way of working, correct opportunity, getting the same work where he or she inclined to work or can say prove self. I mean sometime people don't realize where he / she can excel or whether they are doing the work where they are actually interested in..

I have seen some people are really lucky enough to get the right thing at the right time and they remain happy as well as grow as one should be really happy with work they do to get success...

There are people like me who keeps on struggling as they didn't get the right break or might possible that they might not have tried....

There are people who are really good at the time of working although they are not all that great in education...even we have seen businessman who didn';t even studied still they are at their top because of their smartness and logical thinking..

thats it............

time runs like horse

Today I have finished one year in CRISIL. This year was really very fast.. I didn't realize only how these day went so fast....Although I keep complaining about routine life but I didn't realize its year now!!!! I know I am over reacting :PP

In last year, as such I haven't done any great things in CRISIL so can't say it was good year...Yeah that's true :(

I am just waiting for good opportunity...I wanted to do something more meaning full and whats that meaning full is, I do't know :0000 As usual I am writing something weired :P

No work for the day.............

Yean today I don't have any work so thought to write something in blog.....From last two to three days somehow I am inclined to know more about Indira Gandhi.... I read about Where she studid? when she started her political career, when she got married? When she joined congress as leader? What positive and negative work she did for India..

After reading all that I must admited that She was really Iron Lady..The kind of grace and power she had to tackle to issue was awafull. Thinking to read book on her..

what to do not to get bored???????

Me and Ami Kamani were discussing yesterday that we are really bored of routine.. but really don't know what to do not to get bored.....Please I really want answer for this.. earlier I was really enthusiastic to learn new things if I come across if any.. but now a days I not even see any new things around me.. I am really confused what new I should learn now :)))

human being changes

I believe that everyone changes as he or she becomes older and older...either because of good or bad experiences in past...no one can remain same as they are as they were a decade ago or so....

This is my observation that lots of changes happens in 20-30 age bucket than man seeks for consistency and gradually human behaviour also remains more or less same at 30 to 40.. After that age group I didn't observed much so can't comment on it.. :))

This is only my observation so can be wrong for all...........

What can i do other than job!!!

What can I do other than Job?

Hmm.. I was thinking since last few days that what I can do other than Job......I mean if at one point of time if I decide that no I don't want to job.. do i have any other skills so that I can develop it and can go ahead with it.. well as of now I really can't think any... and that's really sad :(((

I think at present whatver I am doing is good but I really don't know where will I end up? I mean I really not gaining any expertise in any field and that was not my motive.. I was thinking in past that I will work in for all possible areas and will decide on where I can fit in properly.. but unfortunately..I am not able to...
Sometime I really feel scared for future...I mean although I have work experience but its really don't show any expertise for any particular Field...which scares me....

I think for all this I don't have any control in my hand. I just did whatever was coming on my way.......that's sad that I feel all is not proper or might be I am confused..

This is random writing.. i know sometimes I really become crazy :PP

Does all friends remains with you forever?

This is really interesting question........Now a days I feel that all relations don't remain for life time. It just breaks either due to lost of contact or due to lack of bonding....

What I have experienced is some of close friend actually are not so close to me now. we have started thinking differently.. our likes and dislikes which were same earlier, are now not same!!!!Our way of thinking also changed..etc... etc..because of that what I feel is I am not so comfortable with them as I was earlier.. Even now I spend my most of time with new surrounding...that might also be reason......

But ya luckily I do have very few people which I think will never change relations with me as we grow up.....

inner ego sometimes makes you lonely

This is really wonderfull mail I received today. Its really true for me...I mean I have not lost relationship because of my inner ego against misjudegment of outer appearnace.. but yes becuase of my inner ego I am not so close to so many people. which I could be if I have not restricted myself.. Its not becz of their appearnce.. but might be my way of thinking or attitude didn't match with all of them...

How our inner Ego sometimes misjudges a PERSON
A lady in a faded grey dress and her husband, dressed in a home-spun suit walked in timidly without an appointment into the Harvard University President's outer office. The secretary could tell in a moment that such backwoods, country hicks had no business at Harvard and probably didn't even deserve to be in Harvard. "We want to see the President "the ma n said softly.

"He'll be busy all day "the secretary snapped.
"We'll wait" the lady replied.

For hours the secretary ignored them, hoping that the couple would finally become discouraged and go away. They didn't and the secretary grew frustrated and finally decided to disturb the president..

"Maybe if you see them for a few minutes, they'll leave" she said to him. The President, stern faced and with dignity, strutted toward the couple.
The lady told him "We had a son who attended Harvard for one y ear. He loved The lady told him "We had a son who attended Harvard for one y ear. He loved Harvard. He was happy here. But about a year ago, he was accidentally killed. My husband and I would like to erect a memorial to him, somewhere on campus."

The president wasn't touched....He was shocked. "Madam "he said, gruffly, " we can't put up a statue for every person who attended Harvard and died. If we did, this place would look like a cemetery."

"Oh, no," the lady explained quickly” We don't want to erect a statue. We thought we would like to give a building to Harvard."

The president rolled his eyes. He glanced at the gingham dress and homespun suit, and then exclaimed, "A building! Do you have any earthly idea how much a building costs? We have over seven and a half million dollars in the physical buildings here at Harvard."

For a moment the lady was silent. The president was pleased. Maybe he could get rid of them now. The lady turned to her husband and said quietly, "Is that all it costs to start a university ? Why don't we just start our own?"

Her husband nodded. The president's face wilted in confusion and bewilderment. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stanford got up and walked away, traveling to Palo Alto, California where they established the University that bears their name: -StanfordUniversity, a memorial to a son that Harvard no longer cared about.

Most of the time we judge people by their outer appearance, which can be misleading. And in this impression, we tend to treat people badly by thinking they can do nothing for us. Thus we tend to lose our potential good friends, employees or customers.

Remember
In our Life, we seldom get people with whom we want to share & grow our thought process. But because of our inner EGO we miss them forever.

It is you who have to decide with whom you are getting associated in day to day life.

Thanks & Regards,
Ami

How to Improve Your Memory

How to Improve Your Memory

Wouldn’t it be nice to just look at a page and never forget what was on there? What if you could never again forget a friend’s birthday? The bad news is, not everyone has a photographic memory, otherwise known as eidetic memory. Only a few actually have it, the rest rely on mnemonic devices. The good news, however, is that everyone can take steps to improve their memory, and with time and practice most people can gain the ability to memorize seemingly impossible amounts of information. Whether you want to win the World Memory Championships, ace your history test, or simply remember where you put your keys, this article can get you started.

Steps

Convince yourself that you do have a good memory that will improve. Too many people get stuck here and convince themselves that their memory is bad, that they are just not good with names, that numbers just slip out of their minds for some reason. Erase those thoughts and vow to improve your memory. Commit yourself to the task and bask in your achievements -- it's hard to keep motivated if you beat yourself down every time you make a little bit of progress.

Exercise your brain. Regularly “exercising" the brain keeps it growing and spurs the development of new nerve connections that can help improve memory. By developing new mental skills—especially complex ones such as learning a new language or learning to play a new musical instrument—and challenging your brain with puzzles and games you can keep your brain active and improve its physiological functioning. Try some puzzle exercises everyday such as word cross, sudoku and some other games as easy to put into your mobile phone and practise it maybe once for 30 minutes per day.

Exercise daily. Regular aerobic exercise improves circulation and efficiency throughout the body, including in the brain, and can help ward off the memory loss that comes with aging. Exercise also makes you more alert and relaxed, and can thereby improve your memory uptake, allowing you to take better mental “pictures."

Reduce stress. Chronic stress, although it does not physically damage the brain, can make remembering much more difficult. After prolonged stress the brain will be damaged. Stressful situations are recognized by the hypothalamus, which in turn signals the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland secreted adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH)which influences the adrenal glands to secrete adrenaline and later cortisol(corticosteroids). The corticosteroids can weaken the blood-brain barrier and damage the hippocampus(the memory center). Ironically, the hippocampus controls the secretion of the hormone released by the hypothalamus through a process of negative feedback. After chronic stress it will be damaged and it will not be as efficient in regulating the degenerative corticosteroids and memory will be harmed. Neurogenesis (formation of new neurons) indeed exists in the hippocampus but stress inhibits it. To recapitulate and synthesis, chronic stress will affect your health and your memory, it will damage the brain so the best option is to learn to control stress. Stress will never be eliminated, but it definitely can be controlled. [http://ezinearticles.com/?How-Stress-Effects-Neurotransmitters&id=19510]Even temporary stresses can make it more difficult to effectively focus on concepts and observe things. Try to relax, regularly practice yoga or other stretching exercises, and see a doctor if you have severe chronic stress as soon as possible.

Eat well and eat right. There are a lot of herbal supplements on the market that claim to improve memory, but none have yet been shown to be effective in clinical tests (although small studies have shown some promising results for ginkgo biloba and phosphatidylserine). A healthy diet, however, contributes to a healthy brain, and foods containing antioxidants—broccoli, blueberries, spinach, and berries, for example—and Omega-3 fatty acids appear to promote healthy brain functioning. Feed your brain with such supplements as Thiamine, Vitamin E, Niacin and Vitamin B-6. Grazing, eating 5 or 6 small meals throughout the day instead of 3 large meals, also seems to improve mental functioning (including memory) by limiting dips in blood sugar, which may negatively affect the brain.

Take better pictures. Often we forget things not because our memory is bad, but rather because our observational skills need work. One common situation where this occurs (and which almost everyone can relate to) is meeting new people. Often we don’t really learn people’s names at first because we aren’t really concentrating on remembering them. You’ll find that if you make a conscious effort to remember such things, you’ll do much better. One way to train yourself to be more observant is to look at an unfamiliar photograph for a few seconds and then turn the photograph over and describe or write down as many details as you can about the photograph. Try closing your eyes and picturing the photo in your mind. Use a new photograph each time you try this exercise, and with regular practice you will find you’re able to remember more details with even shorter glimpses of the photos.
Give yourself time to form a memory. Memories are very fragile in the short-term, and distractions can make you quickly forget something as simple as a phone number. The key to avoid losing memories before you can even form them is to be able to focus on the thing to be remembered for a while without thinking about other things, so when you’re trying to remember something, avoid distractions and complicated tasks for a few minutes.

Create vivid, memorable images. You remember information more easily if you can visualize it. If you want to associate a child with a book, try not to visualize the child reading the book – that's too simple and forgettable. Instead, come up with something more jarring, something that sticks, like the book chasing the child, or the child eating the book. It's your mind – make the images as shocking and emotional as possible to keep the associations strong.
Repeat things you need to learn. The more times you hear, see, or think about something, the more surely you’ll remember it, right? It’s a no-brainer. When you want to remember something, be it your new coworker’s name or your best friend's birthday, repeat it, either out loud or silently. Try writing it down; think about it.

Group things you need to remember. Random lists of things (a shopping list, for example) can be especially difficult to remember. To make it easier, try categorizing the individual things from the list. If you can remember that, among other things, you wanted to buy four different kinds of vegetables, you’ll find it easier to remember all four.

Organize your life. Keep items that you frequently need, such as keys and eyeglasses, in the same place every time. Use an electronic organizer or daily planner to keep track of appointments, due dates for bills, and other tasks. Keep phone numbers and addresses in an address book or enter them into your computer or cell phone. Improved organization can help free up your powers of concentration so that you can remember less routine things. Even if being organized doesn’t improve your memory, you’ll receive a lot of the same benefits (i.e. you won’t have to search for your keys anymore).

Try meditation. Research now suggests that people who regularly practice "mindfulness" meditation are able to focus better and may have better memories. Mindfulness (also known as awareness or insight meditation) is the type commonly practiced in Western countries and is easy to learn. Studies at Massachusetts General Hospital show that regular meditation thickens the cerebral cortex in the brain by increasing the blood flow to that region. Some researchers believe this can enhance attention span, focus, and memory.
Sleep well. The amount of sleep we get affects the brain's ability to recall recently learned information. Getting a good night's sleep – a minimum of seven hours a night – may improve your short-term memory and long-term relational memory, according to recent studies conducted at the Harvard Medical School.
Build your memorization arsenal. Learn pegs, memory palaces, and the Dominic System. These techniques form the foundation for mnemonic techniques, and will visibly improve your memory.

DNA article on link between Gold, Doller and Oil

what’s oil got to do with the dollar and gold?
vivek kaul. mumbai
late evening. a little drizzle. me and her sitting on a bench overlooking the sea, under a single umbrella.
“so?” she asked.
“this is nice,” i replied.
“nice? that’s all? you use the word nice whenever you don’t know what you want to say!”
“kind off.”
“i am bored,” she said coyly. “since you claim you can link anything to anything. let’s play a game. i will come up with three words and you link them.”
“suits me.”
“so my three words are dollar, oil and gold.”
“you can’t think of anything but economics these days?”
“chickened out already?”
“not at all. but you should get ready to get back into history if you want to understand the link.”
“yeah i am ready.”
“in the 1930s, texas, the second largest american state, was producing so much oil that the price at times fell to as low as ten us cents a barrel (a barrel of oil is equal to around 159 litres). now this was something that oil companies did not like. the texas state government gave texas railroad commission the power to regulate drilling of oil and thus set production levels. once the commission could regulate the production level, it could regulate supply of oil and hence indirectly regulate the price of oil, as well. this price became to be known as the texas price and over a period, the texas price became the us price and the us price became the world price. this arrangement worked very well for the us companies, which till the 1950s produced nearly half of the world oil. hope this part is clear?” i asked.
“yeah. till now i have understood everything.”
“in 1928, saudi arabia gave an exploration license to standard oil company of california for around 35,000 gold sovereigns. the company stuck oil in 1937. after this, more and more companies stuck oil in the middle east. in 1960, the organisation of petroleum exporting countries (opec) was formed. opec comprised largely of oil producing countries from the middle east. it was formed so that the countries could take on the big international oil companies, who till then had been dictating terms. juan palo perez alfonso, the venezuelan oil minister, was the brain behind opec. and the irony was that he had studied the way the texas railroad commission works when he had been exiled to the us. he used the texas model to establish opec.”
“you really seem to have history and economics all figured out,” she said.
“well with your increasing interest in economics, i need to be ready all the time,” i said. “now let me explain a few things about the dollar. between the end of world war ii and august 15, 1971, the us dollar was pegged to gold, with one troy ounce of gold (around 31.1 grams) being worth $35. meaning, the us was ready to convert dollars to gold at any point of time. this ensured the dollar became the international reserve currency with other countries carrying out trade with each other in dollars because it was convertible into gold. all this led to a lot of dollar pile-ups across the world. also, the us itself printed a lot of dollars to bankroll the cold war and the vietnam war. this led to a situation where more and more countries started to exchange their dollars for gold. the amount of gold that the us government had was not infinite. so, on august 15, 1971 then-president richard nixon decided the us would no longer convert dollars into gold.”
“aren’t you deviating from the point? where is the link?” she interrupted.
“have some patience my dear. till august 15, 1971, the us dollar was essentially gold. after that, it became a concept, an idea or just a piece of plain paper which had the backing of the world’s biggest superpower nation. also, during the first decade, opec was not successful at doing what it was established to do. between june 5 and 10, 1967, the six-day war broke out between israel on one side and egypt, jordan and syria on the other side. at that point, opec had cut production by 1.5 million barrels, primarily to punish the us which was an ally of israel. the production cut hardly mattered, because the us started to pump oil from its spare production capacity. oil production in the us peaked in 1970, and has been going downhill since then. at the same time, the american addiction to oil has been on its way up. in october 1973, egypt and syria went to war with israel. this war came to be known as the yom kippur war. opec, knowing well that america’s oil production had peaked, imposed an oil embargo. from october to december the opec price of oil increased from $2.20 per barrel to $11.65 per barrel. why do you think opec had the audacity to do that?”
“because, as far as i can see from what you said, oil production in the us had peaked in 1970. so the us did not have any spare capacity to pump up production and meet the shortfall from opec’s cut in production. and given america’s addiction to oil, they had to pay the price opec demanded.”
“that’s right to an extent. the global demand for oil had gone up from 3.7 million barrels per day (mbpd) in 1950, to 25.6 mbpd in 1970. so, an increase in demand was a definite reason for demanding a higher price. but what one must remember is that by taking dollar off from the gold standard, the us had the ability to print as many dollars as they wanted to, as they did not have to bother about having to face the risk of converting those dollars into gold. and given their addiction to the so-called american way of life, they would print as many dollars as required to pay opec’s price. opec of course, understood this. if what you are earning is paper, then you’d rather have more of it than less of it. once the us was ready to pay, the rest of the world followed.”
“interesting. what happened after that?”
“mohammad reza shah pahlavi, the shah of iran, was overthrown by ayatollah khomeni on february 11, 1979. by may 14, 1979, the opec price was at $13.34 per barrel. oil till then was sold under long-term contracts. there was turmoil in iran, causing its oil production to fall dramatically. this sent the spot price of oil through the roof, as iran is the second-largest producer of oil within opec after saudi arabia.”
“spot price?”
“the day-to-day purchase market for oil was at rotterdam in the netherlands. here, the price of oil shot up from $13.34 per barrel on may 15 to $34 per barrel on may 17. iran cashed in on this and sold off their oil at the spot market. soon, other opec members followed. the spot price reached $40 per barrel and opec raised its price to the same level. opec again cashed in on the america’s addiction to oil and the fact that it could print as many dollars as it wanted to buy oil. with an increase in price, the inflow of dollars for the opec nations shot up. saudi arabia and some other opec countries started to use these dollars to buy gold and the price of gold also shot up through the roof, going from $258 per ounce in may 1979 to $678 per ounce in 1980.”
“but all that is history. what is the learning in the present day and context?”
“well. i thought you would have got the point already. the price of oil fell to a low of around $30 a barrel, as economies all over the world crashed, reducing prospective demand for oil. but since then, the price of oil has been rising again and has risen to $60 a barrel. opec of course understands that america can just print dollars to buy oil, as long as the international market for oil continues to be priced in dollars. given that, why not have more dollars than less? so, production of oil by opec members has been adjusted accordingly to ensure a good price. other than this, if opec countries start buying gold with the dollars that they are earning — as they have in the past — imagine what would happen to the price of gold.”
“but how can you be so sure?” she asked.
“sure? in life, decisions are based on two kinds of guesses we make: wild guesses and educated guesses. i’d like to believe i’m making an educated guess!”
(the example is hypothetical)

Differecne in Love and Marriage

A student asks a teacher, "What is love?"

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."
The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big wheat, but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later.
Then he saw another bigger one... but may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him.
Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he start to realize that the wheat is not as big as the previous one he saw, he
know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted.
So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.
The teacher told him, "...this is love... you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person.... "

What is marriage then?" the student asked.
The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."
The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he
has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher.
The teacher told him, "this time you bring back a corn.... you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get.... this is marriage."

Better English lessons

Feedback :Feedback is a collective noun. It does not take an article and never appears in the plural. So, even if you collect feedback from five people, it'll still be feedback and not feedbacks.

Enviornment :environment. This is an overused term with metaphorical implications that often don’t fit the circumstances:
Original: The company announced that deterioration in the consumer credit environment will result in an adverse impact on its third-quarter results.
Better: The company announced that deteriorating consumer credit conditions will hurt its third-quarter results.

evidenced by: Avoid this phrase because it is passive and unnecessarily lengthens the sentence.
Other verbs, in the active form, such as show, demonstrate, or prove are better choices.

Use past instead of last.
For example: The company's revenues declined by 15% in the past three quarters (instead of last three quarters).

Continually means occurring at frequent intervals. Continuously means occurring without interruption.

Farce

Farce is a comedy written for the stage or film which aims to entertain the audience by means of unlikely, extravagant, and improbable situations, disguise and mistaken identity, verbal humour of varying degrees of sophistication.

I'm confident that the profits shown by Lalu Prasad after he took charge of the railway ministry are a farce.

All philosophy specially Alchemist says if someone decides its Destiny entire world helps it for achieving it but frankly speaking I never observed it or can say experienced it..

Sometime we understand everything still we become help less and can't do anything for it...thats worst kind of situation someone can face in life..

Anyway I just wanted to write my random thoughts so just writing it,...

Get the PHD Attitude"

Excerpted from "Success is a Choice" © 1997 by Rick Pitino

When I was helping Jamal Mashburn, one of my top players, find someone to manage his money a couple of years back, I was looking for someone who was conservative, who had a lot of experience, and who had withstood tough times. My research took me to a man named Mario Gabelli, who handles millions of dollars in corporate investments and endowments.
"Mario gave me a tour of his company in Rye, New York; he must have had between seventy-five and one hundred employees in the back room all handling various accounts. I asked him what he looks for in hiring people, how he created his employee base. Was it a Wharton diploma? Harvard Business School? What was it?
""I hire PHDs," he said
""I don't understand," I said. " I would think in your business you would hire people with expertise in managing money, not PHDs."
""Not in an academic sense," he said.” I'm looking for Poor, Hungry and Driven people."
I've never forgotten Mario's phrase, and now I, too, look for people who are poor, hungry, and driven.

Now I'm not talking about people being poor economically. I'm talking about being poor in terms of knowledge, about people who are constantly searching to learn more, to find more wisdom. And hungry in this context refers to those with a tremendous desire to succeed, people who won't ever be satisfied with an ordinary level of accomplishment. And driven people are the ones who set ambitious goals and then pursue them with real ferocity."

Create Your Weight Loss Diet Plan

Your daily calorie maintenance level is the key number in creating your weight loss diet plan. It is based on many factors and is specific to each person. For example, you and your friend might be the same height and weight, but you might have maintenance levels that are hundreds of calories apart. Since the effectiveness of your weight loss diet plan depends a lot on this number, it is important that you figure it out as accurately as possible.

For the most part there are really only 2 methods of figuring out this "magic" number. The first is pretty close to accurate, and the second is as accurate as can be.

1. Here's the method for getting the "pretty close estimate" of your calorie maintenance level. It requires putting your gender, weight, height, age and activity level through a 6th grade level math formula. However, I have assumed that no one actually wants to sit around doing 6th grade math. I was right, wasn't I? So, I've included a calculator for it instead. All you need to do now is just fill out the quick form below and hit "Calculate!" and you will instantly get your estimated calorie maintenance level. Go ahead and try it...

Your gender: Male Female

Your height: 12345678 feet 01234567891011 inches

Your weight: pounds

Your age: years old

Your activity level: SedentaryLightly ActiveModerately ActiveVery ActiveExtremely Active

Your estimated daily calorie maintenance level is:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. While the above method is probably accurate enough for most people (it was actually very close for me), I can't say for sure if it will be as accurate for everyone. And, since this is the number that will be at the heart of your weight loss diet plan, I'm going to mention the second method. It's not so much a "method" as it is a "test."

Basically, you would start eating a certain number of calories each day and then closely monitor what your weight does when consuming this many calories. For example, if you maintained weight eating this certain number calories per day, you have found your maintenance level. If you gained weight, lower your calorie intake a little and see what happens then. If you lose weight, then you know you're already below your calorie maintenance level.

If you want to give method #2 a try, I'd suggest using your current calorie intake as the number of calories to start the "test" on. To figure this number out, pick a day and eat like you normally would. The only difference is you will be keeping track of the number of calories in everything you consume. At the end of the day add it all up. Do this for a few days and then take an average of all the days. This average is the average amount of calories you are currently taking in each day and would make a perfect starting point for method #2.

Which method you decide to use is up to you. Feel free to use both, by the way.

Create your weight loss diet plan.
Now that you know what your daily calorie maintenance level is, it's time to officially create your weight loss diet plan.

To do this, just subtract 500 from your calorie maintenance level.

For example, if you figured your maintenance level to be 3000 calories per day, you would now start eating 2500 calories per day instead. It's really as easy as it sounds. Just subtract 500 from your daily maintenance level and then start eating this new amount of calories each day. By doing so, you would officially be in a calorie deficit. And, as you know, a calorie deficit is what makes weight loss happen.

You're also going to want to try to eat 5-6 smaller meals per day (once every 2-3 hours) and spread those calories out evenly among them. There are three reasons for eating 5-6 smaller meals instead of 1-3 big meals or just randomly throughout the day. The first is that it will help speed up your metabolism. The second is that eating so frequently will help keep you satisfied and less likely to eat something you shouldn't. The third is that you will be supplying your body with the nutrients it needs consistently throughout the day.

All that's left to do now as far as your weight loss diet plan goes is make sure that the calories you are consuming each day are coming from the right food sources...

Protein
Protein isn't just an important part of The Lose Weight diet, it's an important part of every diet. As far as food sources go, the best sources of protein tend to come from anything that used to be alive, or anything that came from something that used to be alive. Some high protein foods include:

chicken
fish
lean cuts of meat
turkey
eggs and egg whites
milk

Protein can also be found in all types of nuts, seeds and beans. And of course, there are always protein supplements in the form of powder, shakes and bars.

As far as how much protein you should include in your weight loss diet plan per day, that depends on the person. For example, the average person who doesn't exercise at all needs less protein than someone who does. Something in the range of 0.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight would be alright in this case. For example, if the person weighed 180lbs, you would do 180 x 0.5 = 90 grams of protein per day.

However, someone who does exercise should eat somewhere in the range of .6 - 1.0 grams of protein per pound of body weight. In this example a person weighing 180lbs would look to eat between 108 - 180 grams of protein per day. People really into weight training (and other athletes) are typically the ones who stay closer to the higher end of that equation.

The only other thing you need to know about protein is that 1 gram contains 4 calories. So, for example, if you were to eat 100 grams of protein per day, that would account for 400 calories. (100 x 4 = 400)

Fat
Despite any crazy ideas that have been put into your head, there are 2 different types of fat. Good fat (polyunsaturated and monounsaturated) and bad fat (saturated and trans). Bad fat can be found in all of the usual junk foods that you already know you shouldn't eat. Good fat on the other hand can be found in the following foods:

fish
nuts
olive oil
flax seed oil supplement
fish oil supplement (I personally use and recommend this brand.)

As for how much fat should be included in your weight loss diet plan... about 30% of your total calorie intake should come from fat. Most (if not all) of this fat should come in the form of the "good" food sources listed above. Very little (if any) should come from the "bad" sources.

Also keep in mind that 1 gram of fat contains 9 calories. So, for example, if you needed to eat 80 grams of fat per day, that would account for 720 calories.
(80 x 9 = 720)

Carbs
Now that you know how much protein and fat your weight loss diet should include, it will be pretty easy to figure out how many carbs you should eat. Quite simply, the rest of your diet should be carbs. Once you factor protein and fat into your total calorie intake, whatever calories are left over to reach the number of calories you figured you need to eat per day... those calories should come from carbs.

One carb contains 4 calories. So, for example, after factoring protein and fat into what you calculated your total calorie intake should be (500 below maintenance level, remember?), let's say you are 1200 calories below that number. In this example you would need to eat 300 carbs per day. (1200 ÷ 4 = 300)

And, just like fat, there is a good type of carbs you should eat (complex carbs), and a bad type of carbs you should try to limit as much as possible (simple carbs). Some sources of "good" carbs are:

beans
brown rice
100% whole wheat bread
whole wheat pasta
sweet potatoes
oatmeal
fruits and vegetables

The bad type of carbs are found in typical snack/junk foods like crackers, pretzels, chips, cookies, etc. as well as white bread, white rice, white potatoes, pasta and any candy, drink or food containing sugar. While you should try to limit these "bad" carbs as much as possible and get most of your carb intake from foods on the "good" list, eating a baked potato or some pasta once in a while won't kill you.

Remember...
Remember, the most important part of The Lose Weight Diet is making sure you are 500 calories below your calorie maintenance level. Everything you just read about protein, fat and carbs was to give you an idea of how to divide those calories up so that your weight loss diet plan is as balanced as possible. The guidelines mentioned aren't just ideal for weight loss, they're also ideal for good health in general.

The end of Phase 2 of The Lose Weight Diet
You have reached the end of Phase 2. Right now you should not only know how to lose weight, but you should also know exactly what your specific weight loss diet plan should be so YOU can lose weight. You know how many calories you need to eat, and you know where those calories should come from. For the most part, you're done. Take a breath. It's a good feeling, isn't it?

All that's left now is some final information to not only make sure you continue losing weight, but to make sure you keep the weight off once it's gone. That's what Phase 3 will explain. Also, any questions that may have popped into your head during Phase 1 and 2 (for example, how do you know how many calories/protein/carbs/fat are in certain foods?) will be answered in Phase 3. So... let's go...

(If you somehow got here without reading Phase 1 and Phase 2 first, you're going to be a little lost. It's ok, just go back and read them here: Phase 1: How To Lose Weight and Phase 2: Create Your Weight Loss Diet Plan)

In Phase 1 and Phase 2 of The Lose Weight Diet, you learned basically everything you need to know in order to lose weight safely, effectively, and oh yeah, for free. At this point, you also know what your own personal weight loss diet plan should be. You're pretty much set and ready to go. However, before you do, there's a few other things you're going to want to know.

In Phase 3 you will learn how to make sure you continue losing weight and, even more importantly, keep the weight off for good. I'm also going to give some additional pieces of weight loss information that didn't fit in anywhere in Phase 1 and 2 as well as answer a couple of questions you may have thought of throughout the course of The Lose Weight Diet.

Continue Losing Weight
What I'm about to say may scare you a little. However, it shouldn't. It is completely normal and is supposed to happen. At some point, you MAY stop losing weight. I can't tell you when exactly, but unless you have a really small amount of weight to lose, there is a chance that at some point your weight loss might come to a stop. Hang on, calm down. It's no big deal. Seriously... if it does happen, it was supposed to happen. The reason for this is because as you gradually begin to lose weight, you're body will start to change. Yeah, you'll look better, you'll be healthier, you'll feel better, but one other change will come to your calorie maintenance level.

For example, let's say you started at 200lbs and you calculated your maintenance level to be 3500 calories (these are just made up numbers). You then figured that in order to start losing weight, you'd need to eat 3000 calories per day (500 below maintenance). Since then, you've consistently lost weight and are currently down to 185lbs. But... your weight loss has stopped. It's been 3 weeks and you haven't lost even half a pound.

What this means is that your calorie maintenance level, which was 3500 calories when you were 200lbs, has changed now that you're at 185lbs. Your maintenance level has become lower. It is now 3000 calories. So, what do you do? Simple, reduce your calorie intake by an additional 250 calories. In this example, you'd start eating 2750 calories per day for now on. (3000 - 250 = 2750) OR, you could continue to eat the same number of calories (3000 in this example) per day, but just burn off the 250 calories through exercise.

Keep in mind though that this may not even happen to you. If it doesn't, cool. If it does, just make the simple 250 calorie adjustment (through diet and/or workout) to make sure you continue to lose weight.

I would recommend giving it 2-4 weeks of seeing no weight loss whatsoever before you make this adjustment just to be sure that you are indeed no longer losing weight. Sometimes your diet could have been off a little that week, or maybe you missed a workout or two. Something like this could make it appear as though you are no longer losing when in fact you just weren't as consistent as you should have been.

Weighing Yourself
Many times throughout The Lose Weight Diet I've made a reference to your weight. What I didn't do however was mention HOW you should weigh yourself. First and foremost, you should weigh yourself once a week. No more, no less. You should also keep some kind of written/typed log of your weight each week so you can properly track your progress.

The other important weighing tip is to ALWAYS weigh yourself first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Weighing yourself any time later in the day is useless as there could be a 5-10 pound difference at different times during the day. Also, if possible, try to do it on the same day each week. I do it every Wednesday morning right after I wake up.

Tracking Your Progress
One of the keys to successful weight loss is accurately tracking your progress. While weighing yourself every week is one of the best ways to do so, there are 3 other ways.

One way is to have your body fat percentage tested on a somewhat regular basis. Some gyms do this, and some doctors, nutritionists, and personal trainers can do this for you as well. You can also buy body fat calipers and perform the test on yourself. A scale can only tell you if you are gaining or losing weight. Your body fat percentage can tell you if that weight is fat, muscle or water.

A second way to track your progress is with a tape measure. Measure your waist, arms, legs, chest, neck and really wherever else you want. I do this every other week and keep a written log of it. Like weighing yourself, you should also try to do this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

A third way is with pictures. Thanks to digital cameras, this is quick and easy. Once a month I take a few pictures of myself in the same few poses every time. Since you see yourself many times every single day, it's a little harder for you to notice any changes. But, with pictures, you can literally look back and compare and see every bit of progress you've made.

Keeping The Weight Off
Here's a pretty nice problem to have... what to do when you are finished losing weight. Sounds great, doesn't it? Don't worry, you'll be there soon enough.

Once you've lost all of the weight you were looking to lose... nothing changes. Your diet stays the same. Your workout stays the same. You shouldn't be surprised to hear that. Remember when I mentioned how weight is gained? By going OVER your maintenance level, right? So, once you lose weight and you've decided you're happy at your current weight... you can't go back to your old eating habits. Going back to what you used to do will only turn you into what you used to be. What you used to be is gone and needs to stay gone permanently. So, what do you do?

Well, you no longer want to lose weight, and you certainly don't want to gain weight. This means it's time to maintain your current weight for good by being equal with your new calorie maintenance level.

If you are still losing weight at the time you decide you've lost as much as you wanted to lose, it means you're still below maintenance level. You need to be even with it. So, add 100-250 calories to your daily diet and monitor your weight for 2 or 3 weeks. Are you maintaining yet? If so, you know how much you need to eat for now on. If you still lost, add another 100-250 calories and give it another 2-3 weeks. If you gained, slightly lower your calorie intake and see what happens.

You're goal at this point will be to find the right number of calories you need to eat each day in order for your body to maintain its new lighter weight. Once you find it, you'll be able to keep your weight from changing... permanently.

3 Questions You Should Have
Question: You have talked a lot about food and what we should and should not eat. What about drinks?

Answer: As far as (WATER) drinks go, there is (WATER) really only one drink that (WATER) you should be (WATER) drinking. Can you guess what it is? Something tells me you can. Yup, it's water.

Soda, sports drinks and most fruit juices contains lots of calories and lots of sugar (the bad carb). Doesn't sound too ideal for weight loss, does it? On the other hand, water contains zero calories and zero sugar... and your body needs it. If you want the good stuff that's in fruit juice, eat the actual fruit. For drinks, drink water. Milk wouldn't be too terrible (especially skim) and if you HAVE to drink soda (which you shouldn't) obviously diet would be better than regular. But honestly, water is all you should ever drink. It's all I ever drink.

Most people know about the "8 cups of water a day" rule (half a gallon), and I guess that would be an okay starting point for the average person. However, someone losing weight and working out should be drinking more than that. I'd recommend getting closer to 1 full gallon a day if you can.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question: The Lose Weight Diet has a lot to do with calories. It also has a lot to do with protein, carbs and fat. How do I know how many calories and how many grams of protein, carbs and fat are in the foods I eat?

Answer: The first obvious answer here is to check the package your food came in. If you're eating something that came out of a box, bag, jar, can, bottle or container of any kind, it very likely has all of that information right there on it.

However, I am fully aware that a lot of the things we eat don't have this information on them, and that doesn't even include when we go out to eat. In this case there are 2 solutions. The first is to buy a "food counter" or "calorie counter" book (try Amazon.com) that will contain a huge index of different foods along with it's calorie, protein, carb and fat content. You could probably find a cheap pocket-sized one for around $5.00.

On the other hand, The Lose Weight Diet is all about "free." Even $5.00 is more than you need to spend on something weight loss related besides good food or a gym membership. So, here's solution #2 and the one that I myself use...

Search for all of your foods on a Calorie Counter (aCalorieCounter.com). a Calorie Counter is a completely FREE web site that allows you to type in the name of the food you want to look up (apple, chicken, corn flakes, french fries, etc.), hit search, and then see its complete nutritional content instantly. Calories, protein, carbs, fat and a whole lot more, all for free.

I should know, I made the site. After years of using other people's "calorie counter" type sites, I decided to make my own better version. It's the perfect side-kick to The Lose Weight Diet. Be sure to check it out.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question: I realize that this is The Lose Weight Diet, but what about working out?

Answer: As you've already learned, it is indeed possible for weight loss to happen through your diet plan alone. I hate to even mention that, because every single person reading this SHOULD workout. Your weight loss will happen faster and easier if you did it through a combination of diet AND workout rather than just one of the two.

Still not good enough for ya? How about this... besides being great for losing weight, exercise (of any kind) is fantastic for your health!

Still aren't sold on working out? Ok, how about this... it will make you look really, really good. Seriously. You'll get "sexy washboard abs" and "lean muscular arms" and a "defined chest and legs and shoulders and blah blah blah." Are you sold now? Good. You should be.

There are 2 forms of exercise you can do, and you should do both. The first is cardio/aerobic stuff. This would include jogging, riding a bike, swimming, jumping rope, walking, playing sports, aerobics classes, elliptical machines and so on. The second is weight training. This would include dumbbell and barbell exercises (and certain machines) for each muscle group.

Both will help your weight loss. Both will help your health. Both will make you look really, really good. What more could you ask for?

The End Of The Lose Weight Diet
That's it. You're done. You've reached the end of The Lose Weight Diet. While there is still a ton of additional free information on this site (plus a blog), right now you already know everything you need to know in order to lose weight. You know how to lose weight, you know what your specific weight loss diet plan should be, and you know how to make sure you continue losing weight and never let it come back. You feel that? It's relief. Weight loss is ready and waiting. All that's left for you to do is go and get it.

If something confused you a little, or if you forget something along the way, or if you just need to read something again... don't worry. This site isn't going anywhere and it's always going to be free. The Lose Weight Diet is here for you to read over and over again until you've finally got it.

Now that you've reached the end, the people who were skeptical at the beginning about whether this really was a free weight loss diet are probably thinking, "Ok, here comes the catch. Here comes the part where he's going to try to sell me something or ask me for money." You're wrong... but you're close.

I hate to sound greedy, but I actually am going to ask for something in return. Two things, actually. First, once you lose all the weight, send me an email and tell me. Something as quick and simple as "I'm done" or "I now weigh 50 pounds less than I used to" would be fine.

Second, tell your friends. The goal of The Lose Weight Diet isn't to make money. It's only goal is to help as many people as possible lose weight. The more people it helps, the more successful it is. So, whenever you are in a situation where you can do so, help spread the word about The Lose Weight Diet. Thanks.

That's it. Stay dedicated, be consistent, and never stop.

Good write up on relationship on rediff

Why love often lessens after marriage

If you're planning to make your relationship eternal by getting married, then you should sit down for a moment and give the idea a second thought, suggests a new study.

Northwestern University study is based on the question: Will the partner who supports your hopes and aspirations while you are dating also help you fulfill important responsibilities and obligations that come with marriage?

The answer to that question could make a difference in how satisfied you are after tying the knot.

Believing a partner is there to help you grow into the person you aspire to be predicted higher relationship satisfaction for both dating and married couples, the study showed. But the belief that your partner helps you live up to your responsibilities and uphold your commitments only predicted higher relationship satisfaction after marriage.

For dating couples, the relationship itself tends to revolve around whether things are moving forward. Happiness with a partner depends on whether the relationship will grow into something more, whether a partner will support the dreams the other eventually hopes to achieve.

For married couples, the feeling that their partners are helping them to advance their relationships and realise their ideal achievements is still important. But the relationships of married couples, now more interconnected both practically and psychologically, tend to revolve around upholding the commitment made to their partners. Unlike dating couples, married couples also put a high premium on their partners' support of whatever they determine to be necessary obligations.

"In other words, the feelings of being loved and supported that people use to judge who makes a good girlfriend or boyfriend may not be completely trustworthy in deciding who makes a good husband or wife," said Daniel Molden, assistant professor of psychology at Northwestern and lead author of the study.

"Those feelings may only partially capture the emotions that will determine your satisfaction with the person you marry," the expert added.

The findings, Molden said, could be important in explaining why so many marriages fall apart.

The study, which will be published in the July issue of Psychological Science, included 92 heterosexual dating couples and 77 married couples.

They completed a battery of questionnaires that included an assessment of how much they thought their partner understood and supported both the hopes and responsibilities they had set for themselves. To measure how different types of perceived support were related to happiness with the relationship, couples also completed well-validated measures of satisfaction, intimacy and trust.

Five Point Someone

Everyone must have at least heard about Chetan Bhagat's Five Point someone. Its simple story of three friends who messed up their gardes in IIT just on desire of doing something practical or more meaning full rather mugging.............

I really liked the last part of story specially Prof Cherian's speech on last day. I can sense reality in his speech.

It says
"GPAs make a good student but not a good person"
I think its perfect. Just be ranker or topper doesn't mean that person will be good in quality too.

Believe in yourself and don't let GPA performance review or promotion in job define you.
This was most appealing statement for me. I always used to feel earlier that person in my batch if earns more than me that means ,more sucessfull or can say more smarter but I realized that I have really tried what I always thought of doing. It doesn't matter how much I have achieved but it gives me self satisfaction that yes I have tried it.

Don't judge others too quickly
Yes I completely agree on it.

Make Your Memory Better

Make Your Memory Better

1 ASSOCIATE NAMES. Link what you want to remember to what you already know. You meet a Jennifer: Picture her in your mind’s eye with other Jennifers—Aniston (above), Lopez. Visualize them together, which is what makes it work.

2 GET ORGANIZED. Dr. Margaret Sewell, director of the Memory Enhancement Program at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, suggests changing the way you organize your tasks. For example, no calls and no e-mail until the current job is done. “It’s amazing,” she says, “the difference people see as they cut down on nonessential multi-tasking.”

3 CONCENTRATE MORE. Tests show that in absorbing new facts, we are no less competent than 20-year-olds, just slower. “Concentrate a little harder and practice more,” says Dr. Sewell. “You want to learn Italian when you’re 90? OK! It will take you a little longer but, assuming there’s no pathology, you can do it!”

MOMENTS IN LIFE

MOMENTS IN LIFE
There are moments in life when you miss someone
so much that you just want to pick them from
your dreams and hug them for real!

When the door of happiness closes, another opens;
but often times we look so long at the
closed door that we don't see the one
which has been opened for us.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive.
Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile,
because it takes only a smile to
make a dark day seem bright.
Find the one that makes your heart smile.

Dream what you want to dream;
go where you want to go;
be what you want to be,
because you have only one life
and one chance to do all the things
you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet,
enough trials to make you strong,
enough sorrow to keep you human, and
enough hope to make you happy.

The happiest of people don't necessarily
have the best of everything;
they just make the most of
everything that comes along their way.

The brightest future will always
be based on a forgotten past;
you can't go forward in life until
you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying
and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life so at the end,
you're the one who is smiling and everyone
around you is crying.

KNOW YOUR VALUE

Ya again back to copy paste.. but this is really aweasome........
well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note.

In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this Rupee 500 note?"

Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you
but first let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the note up.
He then asked, "Who still wants it?"

Still the hands were up in the air.
"Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and
started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all
crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not
decrease in value. It was still worth Rupee 500/-.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt
by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as
though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose
your value.
You are special. Don't ever forget it! Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams.

"VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED"

Very nice quote..........

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? And as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give others permission to do the same.

Life will be happier if you accept it........

Ya now its almost four month and above that i joined Crisil. Earlier i was finding it totally different from my earlier office.I always used to tell my friends that i am finding it different and really not sure wil i able to adjust here or not!!!L&T is corporate while crisil is service organisation. L&T you will find people with all age group say from fresher to 25 years of experience. People used to give more importance and respect to seniority..But in CRISIL it is nothing like that.. All are young almost of my age..You will find all of them intelligent and energetic. All would like to do hard work to proove themselves. Ya even all like to enjoy their life also.. All will have fantastic ideas for weekends.Everyday i am hearnign new new things from new collegues. Its really cool and exciting to explore this culture.

So now i started adjusting with new company.I started liking it also..So here is my point.. slowly slowly you will adjust with new enviornment how so ever different it is...

Ho Oo.., Ho Oo.., Hooo.., Ho.. Ho..
Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gayi, Kismat Pe Aaye Naa Yakeen
Utar Aayi Jeet Mein, Jaise Chaand Utar Ta Hai
Kabhi Haule Haule Dheere Se
Gun Guni Dhoop Ki Tarah Se Tarango Mein Tum
Chhoo Ke Mujhe Guzari Ho Yuh
Dekhu Tumhe Ya Main Sunoo, Tum Ho Sukoon
Tum Ho Junoon..., Kyun Pehre Raat Aayi Tum
Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gayi, Kismat Pe Aaye Naa Yakeen

Main To Yeh Sochta Tha, Ke Aaj Kal Kuch Bataane Ko
Fursat Nahi Phir Bhi Tumhe Banaake Woh
Meri Nazar Main Chadh Gaya, Ruit Pe Duaa..Aur Ban Gaya

Badle Raaste Jharne Aur Nadi, Badli Deep Ki Tin Tin
Chhede Zindagi Dhun Koi Nahi, Badli Barkhaa Ki Rimjhim
Badlengi Rituein Ada.., Par Main Rahoongi Sada..
Usi Tarah Teri Baahon Mein Baahein Daal Ke Har Lamha Har Pal

Zindagi Sitaar Hogayi, Rimjhim Malhaa Hogayi
Mujhe Aata Nahi Kismat Pe Apni Yakeen Kaise Mujhko Mili Tu

New office- Expected much more

Sometime i feel do i really capable of doing what i think i am capable of or it is like i am really not getting what i want? I always keep consuoling myself by saying no no its life need to struggle and all...

When i joined crisil i really had huge expectation about kind of work i will do...

I thought i will do full research on the company and will able to assign rating to full company ..... buttttttt in reallity its not like that i am only part of it.... :(((

My senouir anlyst does all that and we are just helping hands....thats fine with me as of now but want something more

Another bad part in job is seniority in crisil. People who are my age and working there from last 3 years are getting much more work and they feel i am fresher so i should narow down my expectation.. that word was pinching me when my manager told me that.. common even i am capable of doing it. .if you dont give me how do you will come to know.. but sad part i have not told all this to my manager.. i dont know by looking senior i always choose to prefer keep mum.. i know it will be dangerous.. have to do something...

Anyways.. i hope either i should narrow down my expectation or really show them that i am capable of doing it.....

Not a penny more not a penny less - Jeffrey Archer

Its all about revenge.

One of the good write up i came across after long time. The story is simple but gives a good lesson to us.

One man speculates share price of oil compnay due to which four men makes heavy losses and decides to come together and take revenge of it.Each was an expert in their feild with differnt personality. They makes amazing plan to trap the man (Harvey) and finally succeds in it.

But at the last turning point starts ... the speculative company's share price really goes up and they all makes tremandous profit from it :))and all decides to make a plan for how to give it back :)))

Not a penny more not a penny less.

Life also runs on the same funda Give to people same as you get it back !!!!!!!!
